Join us at CBERN’s 5th Annual Conference at the University of Calgary Wednesday, May 9 - Saturday, May 12th, 2012. A pre-conference workshop takes place on Wednesday, May 9, "Ethics and the Nonprofit Sector" organized by the Institute for Nonprofit Studies, Mt Royal University and the Sheldon Chumir Foundation for Ethics in Leadership.
The CBERN Conference officially starts with the PhD Program, a professional development session, on Wednesday afternoon and is followed by a public address on the theme of "Leadership and Ethics” by Mac Van Wielingen, Founder, Co-Chairman and Director of ARC Finanical Corp.
The main program, featuring three panel sessions, occurs Thursday May 10 and the morning of Friday May 11, and will explore what is required for dialogue around Leadership, Ethics and Energy.
A PhD Research Meeting and Incubator will close out Friday and will draw on the expertise of Annual Conference participants and the local Calgary community across academic, business, NGO and government sectors. The Incubator aims to support student research and to provide opportunities for all participants to share and discuss current trends in industry-based research on business ethics topics and issues in Canada.
