Me in Brief

George Brenkert’s current research interests focus almost wholly in business ethics. He has recently completed a paper on "Ethical Issues in Social Marketing" which is for a Festschrift of a prominent business ethicist in Europe. He is also almost finished with another paper, "The Ethics of International Social Marketing," which will appear in Ethical Issues in Social Marketing, which is being edited by Alan R. Andreasen and was published by Georgetown University Press in 2001. It is entitled "Ethics in Social Marketing."

Professor Brenkert will be revising a paper, "Entrepreneurship, Ethics and the Good Society," which he gave as a keynote address at the Ruffin Lectures at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. The revised paper will be published for a book on Marketing Ethics. It is to be part of a series on the ethics of various functional areas of business. Finally, he has been appointed the next Editor-in-Chief of Business Ethics Quarterly, the leading journal in business ethics.
