| Abstract | The newly hired general manager of New World Computing joined the firm to exploit its proven software systems, marketing them to hospitals and medical schools. Instead, she finds that none of the products is quite market-ready, all of the customers are angry, and the founders' claims of satisfied clients are based on dreams, not deliveries. Now she learns that there is not enough money to pay her salary. Her first check as an MBA will be an IOU. |
