Along with members of CBERN’s SRI cluster, the Carleton Centre for Community Innovation (3ci) was recently awarded a CURA grant for their Responsible Investing Initiative (RII).

The initiative will provide institutional investors with tools, services and case studies that will enable them to introduce responsible investing initiatives into their portfolios. While many companies in Canada have formally adopted the theory of responsible investing, they have yet to put the theory into practice. The RII will provide examples via case studies, data and templates that will make it easier for these institutional investors to follow up with their plans. As part of the grant, 3ci will also be holding two international symposiums on the topic.
