Prime Minister Viktor Zubkov's meetings with Prime Minister Stephen Harper, International Trade Minister David Emerson, Foreign Affairs Minister Maxime Bernier, Parliamentarians and Canadian and Russian business representatives affirmed both countries' commitment to follow up on the Joint Policy Statement issued by Prime Minister Harper and President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg in 2006 and on the progress made at the first Canada-Russia Business Summit held in Ottawa in March, 2007.

The ranking, conducted by Corporate Knights magazine, measured how well Canadian business schools are integrating social and environmental impact management into the core curriculum.

50 business schools surveyed reported a five-fold increase in the number of stand-alone ethics courses in the past eight years, with 25 per cent of the schools requiring students to take a course in business ethics.
