Toronto Board of Trade, Downtown Centre, Toronto
Conference Overview
The Toronto Board of Trade in partnership with the Conference Board of Canada presents Anne Golden, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Conference Board of Canada to launch its four-part report, Mission Possible: Sustainable Prosperity for Canada.
The speaker will focus on making a winning case for Canada's cities.
The Conference Board believes that cities are the engines of our national economy; the vital force that helps drive our future prosperity. Cities like Toronto support our presence in global supply chains, our capacity to produce and export high value-added products and services and our ability to attract the top talent that spurs innovation and creates wealth. Canada's competitive edge depends on the degree to which we are willing to invest-socially, economically and politically-in the wellbeing of our major cities. The Conference Board will take an in-depth look at Canada's hub-cities and city-regions, with a focus on their current and potential contribution to sustainable prosperity.
