What is the MFA Forum?
The MFA Forum is an open network of major international brands, apparel suppliers and governments from developing countries, trade union organizations, international institutions, and non-governmental organizations committed to working together to develop strategies for a competitive and socially responsible garment and textile industry.
In addition to the Public Forum, MFA Forum participants from around the world will be involved in a series of strategy meetings to assess progress and make plans for in-country projects in Lesotho, Bangladesh, Morocco, and Central America to develop and promote socially responsible and globally competitive national garment industries. The Maquila Solidarity Network is a founding member of the MFA Forum and is acting as local host for these meetings.
